Thursday 8th Ocotber saw the Year 5/6 football team set out on their quest to defend their league title, with an away fixture against local rivals, Meeching Valley. The game proved to be highly competitve - feisty, you might say - with both teams giving it their all. Denton dominated the possession, but found it difficult to break down a resolute Meeching back line. However, after 15 minutes, Denotn helped themselves to an opening goal. After half time, Denton's football began to flow and we scored well deserved goals to seal a 3-0 victory for the visitors. Our next game is away at Peacehaven and will prove a tough challenge - good luck!
